Wearing Masks Hurts!

After a few hours, mask straps start to cut into ears, and get painful. Front-line workers are dealing with so much right now, the last thing they need is to be struggling with painful sores on their ears. So, let's work together and make a difference for the people who make a difference every day.

Donate Your Fabric: Cotton Lycra and/or Spandex

Inspirations Dancewear is supporting a former dance studio owner in donating a simple but extremely useful solution, so front-line workers can wear masks constantly without injuring their ears: stretchy headbands with buttons.

Inspirations has donated all the lycra fabric we had on hand, but much more is needed! Now we’re looking for help from our dance community.

If you make dance costumes, or are a 🧵 home sewer, and have left-over cotton lycra or spandex from your past projects, please consider donating it to this great initiative!

Your donation will be used to create headbands with buttons for doctors, nurses and other front-line workers in hospitals throughout Ontario.

Get Your Fabric Donations To Us

Inspirations Dancewear is coordinating the collection and distribution of fabrics.

Curb-Side Drop Off

If you are local to Kitchener-Waterloo, please consider the curbside drop-off option. This is available Monday-Friday from 11:00am-2:00pm. Simply drive along the left side of our building, and park at the posted signs. Honk your horn once when you are done dropping off your donation, and one of our staff will come and safely collect it from the bin.
